[Video] How to Bottle Feed an Orphaned Kitten

How cute is this?! This adorable little kitten is holding his own baby bottle, just like a hooman baby would do! Have you ever found yourself needing to feed some orphaned kittens, and just not knowing how to go about it? Well, this video covers just about everything you need to know.

As you’ll see in the video, it’s important to determine how much your kitten weighs, so you’ll know how much their stomach can hold. How you hold them is also important. Of course, you can always call your vet for help, should you need it.

Here’s a little tip to help get them started on that bottle – smear a drop of the milk on the nipple so the kitten will smell and taste it. If necessary, gently pry the mouth open, and very carefully squeeze a drop or two into the kitty’s mouth. Just don’t force more than that, or the kitten may choke.
